Make Heaven Crowded!
I looooove this quote!! It’s simple, yet one of my favorite calls to action!
This idea of making Heaven crowded gets me out of my own head and thinking about others. There are sooo many people out there. And so many of them have God and the Bible confused. They see a strict, punishing guy in the sky who disapproves of everything we do. As Christians, we know that couldn’t be further from the truth!
Part of our call as believers is to share the truth and Gospel with everyone! Paul, the author of 1 Corinthians, wrote that “to the weak [he] became weak, that [he] might win the weak. [He became] all things to all people, that by all means [he] might save some,” (19:22). Paul did whatever he could to get people to Jesus.
I want to be like that. I want my girls to be like that. I want you to be like that.
My goal is simple, to take as many people with me to Heaven when I go!
Just like Paul, I’ll try to do what I need to do to help somebody find a relationship with Jesus. I’ll be weak, I’ll be strong! I don’t care!! I just want them, you, my family, everyone I meet to know this love.
I pray the babies we’re raising are the same way, that they transform this rising generation. I pray our babies are light and comfort to people in their schools, dance classes, and on the chick-fil-a playgrounds!
Here are some easy ways your family can make heaven crowded:
- Buy a coffee for the people behind you at Starbucks
- Donating clothes and toys during the holidays to the homeless
- Encourage people with the word of God!
- Praying for the house during family walks around the neighborhood
- Teach your children what tithing and giving is
